The rivalry
Tigers v Falcons
Two office sides, one floodlit box and a season-long argument about who's better.
By the numbers
The season so far
Short boundaries, small sides and a ball that swings. Here's what that does to a scorebook.

The tables
Career records
Player rankings first, then every run, wicket and catch since the first match, worked out from the ball-by-ball scorecards.
How the ratings work: batting combines average and strike rate. Bowling combines wickets per over and economy, measured against the league run rate. All-rounder multiplies the two. Ratings are scaled for experience, so players need 15 innings or 30 overs bowled to count fully.

The ball that moves
We play with the Tilde swing ball. It's the reason a 6-over Test here feels like proper cricket.
Tilde swing ball · yellow & pink
One half of the ball is dimpled and the other half is smooth. That difference in air pressure makes it swing, so a bowler can move it in, move it out, or reverse it late, just like a hardball. But it weighs about 70 grams, the same as a taped tennis ball, so nobody needs pads and the box's walls survive the night.
The bounce is true off astro-turf, and the surface stays the same from the first over to the last. Batters who are used to tape balls take a few overs to get used to it. Bowlers love it straight away.
Hardball movement at tape-ball weight. The ball does the talking.

A caged, floodlit astro-turf box. We play on Sunday nights from about 10:30 PM, usually two or three matches, often until well past midnight. The umpires score every ball live.
